This is a solution that I've found that must be activated in every session of Trisquel mini:
1. install "syndaemon" from "synaptic package manager"
2. Open the terminal and write "syndaemon -i 1 -t -K -R -d". Press enter.
3. Type "syndaemon -d". Press enter.
4. Type "syndaemon -t". Press enter.
Now you will be able to type in a document without move by mistake your touchpad on your laptop.
It was useful for me in order to study.

OMEMO: https://packages.trisquel.org/aramo/purple-lurch
OTR: https://packages.trisquel.org/aramo/pidgin-otr
I was not able to test them extensively, and do not know of any code review or security audit, but they install and show up as expected in the plugin list in Pidgin. OTR works as expected with XMPP: each user needs to send a Q/A pair and answer the other user's question correctly for the conversation to be marked as "Private".
Both plugins are currently listed on the Pidgin plugins page:

- Add/Remove Applications
- Software Updater
- Software & Updates
- Synaptic Package Manager
This seems very confusing, especially for new users
I know there are many similar applications for a special task available in Trisquel. But I don't think installing many alternatives in the standard installation is very useful.
I think it would be possible to delete "Add/Remove Applications" without losing any functionality, because the user can do this plus updating existing packages by starting "Synaptic Package Manager".
"Add/Remove Applications" is also placed in the "Root-Menu". I would prefer to see "Software Updater" there, which is probably used more frequently by most users.
"Software & Updates" stands for configuring the update process and probably left unused most time by most users. It might be possible to place this menu item in "System->Preferences" than in "System->Administration" where it now can be confused with "Software Updater".
I know administrate and/or changing preferences could be the same, but Trisquel has both menu entries and now there are 4 entries about software packages in "System->Administration", which leads to confusing and mistakes while navigating through the "System->Administration" menu.
I hope for a better solution for these (hopefully not only my) problems.
