After starting it for the first time, I opened the menu and went to System -> Preferences -> Personal -> Language configuration, installed my language, placed it at the top of the list of preferred languages, an clicked in "Apply to the whole system".
Still, Abrowser is in English. Then, I opened the Abrowser Menu, went to Settings -> General -> Language, clicked on "Search for more languages..." so the dialog box "Abrowser Language Settings" opens. A warning is shown: "Abrowser can’t update your languages right now. Check that you are connected to the internet or try again.". Clicking on "Select a language to add..." produces no effect. Same result if I close the dialog box and click on the "Set Alternatives..." button.https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/issues/68usb-creator-gtk: Remove and replace text about the "[host GNU/Linux distribut...2024-03-01T19:19:18ZDavid Hedlundusb-creator-gtk: Remove and replace text about the "[host GNU/Linux distribution]"Upstream issue merged to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-creator/+bug/2036756

However, Unison fails to sync to a remote machine, reporting to fail to find the unison command.
Sure enough, unison command is not found on either machine. Looking up at Trisquel menu, it turns out that Unison is installed as 'unison-2.51+4.13.1-gtk'. Installation fails to provide an 'unison' alias for that. It seems that without an alias, Unison fails to invoke its counterpart on the remote machine and SSH sync fails.https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/issues/144Allure of the Stars game main menu starting bug found?2024-02-22T03:38:42ZCody ArnoldAllure of the Stars game main menu starting bug found? What key has to be pressed for

I "spam pressed" PrtSC to even get it.
This bug is both in the Synaptic Package Manager download and a
fakeroot apt-get -b source allure
build I did.
Others may also have problems getting this to work, ie. being able to play the game, not just see a demo.

I installed "Contributing Prerequisites" but did not yet follow the README to setup your (my) system for building.
I was just reporting this as a bug in Allure of the Stars at this time.

I was not able to test them extensively, and do not know of any code review or security audit, but they install and show up as expected in the plugin list in Pidgin. OTR works as expected with XMPP: each user needs to send a Q/A pair and answer the other user's question correctly for the conversation to be marked as "Private".
Both plugins are currently listed on the Pidgin plugins page:

The reason seems to be the udeb rebuilding of these two packages for amd64 resulting in different changelog file compared to the i386 version, causing conflicts. Ironically both packages comes from dummy rebuilds:
https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/blob/aramo/helpers/make-ncurses
https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/blob/aramo/helpers/make-alsa-lib
Any ideas how to resolve this? Or workaround the problem?
Speculating about solutions: fixing #52 would probably have solved this: the only reason the problem happens is because amd64 and i386 packages differs. The only reason Trisquel rebuilds the amd64 package in the first place is to get a udeb, which causes the non-udeb package to also be replaced.
Another solution is to rebuild the package for both amd64 and i386, so at least they are consistent inside Trisquel.

1. "For other packages" has lost its antecedent because Trisquel has only "other packages".
2. "Notify me of a new Trisquel version" is not translated (at least in Spanish and in French).
3. The translations for "Check" in update-manager have been modified in fr.po and pt_BR.po and do not match the strings for "Automatically check for updates" in software-properties.
I could not found find the translation strings in software-properties-*, only in Launchpad. Not sure where they got from there.

# Description
As of today Dec 07 2023, there is a [MR open](https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/merge_requests/1248) for the latest update-manager update 22.04.17 and I've like to help improve l10n on other languages as I've done to Spanish.
On Spanish l10n the update-manager looks like this, no English anywhere:
![u-m_po-es](/uploads/9867ef05d9396f1ad8135afec709f9d1/u-m_po-es.png)
If you would like to help improve your l10n, I'll be holding the update for a week to integrate as many l10n updates as possible.<br />
That is 'til next Dec 14 2023.
# What is needed?
Please translate the following strings indicating the l10n code for your language as shown on the list below, use the insert code style to make it more readable, check the [Example section](https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/issues/127#example) to see how.

Sometimes simply clicking on the map will trigger the crash, sometimes just clicking on Maps in the window list while another window is in focus. As things stand, the application is hardly usable. When running from a terminal, I am getting variations of this message:
<code>`***MEMORY-ERROR***`: org.gnome.Maps[6666]: GSlice: assertion failed: sinfo->n_allocated > 0</code>
While researching that error message, I found out that running <code>G_SLICE=always-malloc gnome-maps</code> consistently prevents the crashes.
After running <code>apt purge gnome-maps</code> and <code>apt autoremove</code> and installling the 'aramo' version again, Maps is not crashing any more. So the regression was seemingly introduced at some point between the 'aramo' 42.0-1 version and the 'aramo-updates' 42.3-0ubuntu1 version and/or their dependencies.
The first of these two upstream issue reports seems to suggest that clutter may be the culprit, while the second points to geocode-glib and a possible "library mistmatch":

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-maps/-/issues/585#note_1814638
UPDATE: I was able to reproduce this on two machines running Trisquel 11 (MATE), after updating, rebooting and re-installing twice. Security and recommended updates, no backports.
